We service Chambers and their members.
Chamber Members Training was born from our experiences in being involved in Chamber activities as both a regular member and after sitting on a board as Membership Director. The frustrations of wanting to help other Chamber Members, but not always having the perfect solution or resources for every situation made us realize that additional support for Chambers everywhere would benefit their members even more.
We also know what it’s like after years of not being a member of a local Chamber of Commerce and believe it is better to be a part of the group supporting the local economy and local businesses than go without that support.
We’ve all seen dedicated Chamber Staff work hard for their members, but they are often pulled in many directions and constantly multi-tasking. And because some don’t always have the time or resources available to provide more detailed or in-depth training for many of the specific business development activities Chamber Member Businesses need help with, we’re making this site a resource for both Chambers of Commerce all across North America and their members.
Of course, having fellow local members as a resource can be invaluable and we always recommend you do business with your local members if they can provide the solutions you need. But there’s not always enough free or affordable help to go around – especially in the areas of marketing and advertising. So with that in mind, we’ve also created this site as a more comfortable entry point for businesses that might need a bit more information before they contact another local member for help.
We proudly and enthusiastically share more than 20 years of online and offline marketing experience with businesses of all types and sizes. And in addition to providing free training, services and resources, we will do our best to coordinate and network with other local marketing and advertising businesses.
The ultimate goal is to not leave any business behind, ignored or forgotten.
Our desire is to not leave any business without some level of help. To do otherwise would defeat the purpose of this web site. But we also know from experience that not every business is a good match for another – for various reasons – possibly due to a lack of experience and capabilities, personality conflicts, availability for projects, pricing, and other reasons. If you’ve experienced this situation, please let us know and we will try to connect you with alternative local resources.
Chambers of Commerce strive to have diversity in growing their memberships. Whenever possible, we urge you to please work with your local Chamber and introduce any of your existing resources as prospective members for your Chamber. Doing so helps everyone and ultimately we’re all in this together as none of us can survive indefinitely without a variety of other businesses doing well in our respective locations.
Regardless of the current economy recovering for some areas (more or less), businesses struggle to grow and even survive when they don’t have enough of the marketing and advertising resources they need. Chamber Members Training exists to help by being one of those resources for you and your business success.
